Mission
The RMEFNO's purpose is to ensure that Francophones of Northern Ontario have access to a continuum of quality French language health care programs and services that meet their needs.
Objectives
- Establish and maintain an organization that can develop and implement strategies aimed at improving health, increasing access to quality French language health services and improving the well-being of the Northern Ontario’s Francophone community.
- Develop expertise in the planning of French language health care services and well-being, particularly with regards to the delivery of these services and the identification of the needs and priorities of the Francophone community.
- Undertake and support initiatives, including research projects, to improve the health and well-being of Northern Ontario’s Francophone community.
- Establish a framework for concerted action with partners involved in delivering French language health care services and ensuring the well-being of Northern Ontario’s Francophone community. Joint actions, partnerships, advocacy, information, support and mobilization are essential to this work.
The organization can undertake any other action compatible with these objectives.
