RMEFNO’s Photo Contest Winners

The Réseau du mieux-être francophone du Nord de l’Ontario (RMEFNO announces its Photo Contest Winners.

SUDBURY, April 20 2015 – Ten individuals from northern Ontario have excelled themselves during RMEFNO’s First Photo Contest which allowed people from Northern Ontario to showcase their talents in the following categories.

Northern Ontario Landscapes and Nature

1st prize — Audrey Debruyne from Thunder Bay

2nd prize — Pierre Ouellette from Kapuskasing

3rd prize — Nathalie Rondeau from Sudbury

Honourable mentions — Nathalie Rondeau from Sudbury and Tara O’Hearn from Chapleau

 

Francophones in Action in Northern Ontario

1st prize — Liming Yu from Thunder Bay

2nd prize — Karine Turner from Sturgeon Falls

3rd prize –- Liming Yu from Thunder Bay

Honourable mentions — Karine Turner from Sturgeon Falls and Nicole Roy from Moonbeam

 

Youth 15 years old and under

1st prize — Maika Czuprynski from Thunder Bay

2nd prize — Véronique Chouinard de Sudbury

3nd prize — Kira Czuprynski from Thunder Bay

Honourable mention –- Véronique Chouinard from Sudbury

 

In total, more than 15 participants with approximately 80 photographs were submitted for the contest. Members from the jury evaluated the photos received by taking in account the respect of the theme, originality and technical quality.

“We wish to congratulate all the winners and thank all the participants who amazed us with the quality of their photographs”, declared Diane Quintas, RMEFNO Executive Director.

All photos received during the contest will be retained by the RMEFNO for later use in their communication tools, including the website and other publications.

The RMEFNO’s purpose is to ensure that Francophone’s in Northern Ontario have access to a continuum of quality French language health care services that meet their needs.
