Appointment of a New Director for the Board of the Réseau

Sudbury – March 5, 2018  – Isabelle Charbonneau was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Réseau du mieux-être francophone du Nord de l’Ontario (Réseau). She will represent the Temiskaming region.

“The Board of Directors of the Réseau is pleased to welcome Isabelle in her new role. Her experience in administration and finance as an Executive Director and business owner is an asset for our board, along with her knowledge of the communities in Northern Ontario. The skills and background of our board members provide us with the knowledge necessary to move forward in improving access and equity to French language health services”, said Collin Bourgeois, Board Chair.

Isabelle is originally from Val Gagné, now living in Kirkland Lake for over thirty-five years. She has several years experience in upper management and as a business owner that includes sales, distribution, marketing and promotion across the North East. Isabelle has been a school trustee with the Conseil scolaire catholique de district des Grandes Rivières since 2006. She is an active member of the Francophone community, participating on various committees and community groups.

“The Francophone community is very important for me. I choose to get involved in order to promote the value of Francophone services. It is important that health and education remain a priority so that Francophones living in a minority situation receive the services they need in French. I am looking forward to working with the Board of Directors of the Réseau”, said Isabelle.
