“ The Board of Directors of the Réseau is pleased to welcome two new directors bringing diverse skills and background. Daniel’s experience working in the area of human resources, policing, community relations, along with his extensive knowledge of the geography of Northern Ontario and its challenges will be an asset to the Board. Daniel and Lucille are a welcomed additions to our board and will certainly contribute to the current Board expertise as we work to improve access and equity to French language health services said Chair Collin Bourgeois.”

“My knowledge of Northern Ontario and my understanding of the challenges that many people face, has led to me to be involved in the community and regional levels so that I may contribute towards the creation of a health system that responds well to our needs. I am looking forward to working with the Board of Directors of the Réseau to improve access to health care for Francophones, said Daniel.”

Lorraine is a registered nurse and holds a Master of Science in Administration. She has collaborated on several initiatives that aimed at improving the patient experience.

“Franco-Ontarian from Sudbury, I’ve always been interested in working with the Francophone community, particularly in the area of health care. My work
experience has allowed me to gain a better understanding of the issues associated with maintaining culture and langue in a minority setting. Having moved back to the North from Ottawa, I am pleased to be able to work with Board of Directors of the Réseau to ensure an equitable offer of French language health care services, said Lorraine.”
