Nomination of Frédérique Dallaire-Blais as interim Planning and Community Engagement Officer for the Algoma region

Sudbury – May 16, 2016 — The Réseau du mieux-être francophone du Nord de l’Ontario (RMEFNO) is pleased to announce the nomination of Ms Frédérique Dallaire-Blais as interim Planning and Community Engagement Officer for the Algoma region (Blind River, Elliot Lake, Sault Ste.Marie, Hornepayne, Wawa and Dubreuilville). She will be starting her new role on June 6th, 2016.

Ms. Dallaire-Blais worked as coordinator for the Centre régional de recherche et d’intervention en développement économique et communautaire (CRRIDEC). She is presently working towards her Master’s degree in Applied Social Research from Laurentian University. She has also worked as a research assistant on many projects including the ‘’Déhospitalisation psychiatrique et accès aux services de santé mentale. Regards croisés Ontario-Québec, 1950-2010.’’

Diane Quintas, Executive Director of the RMEFNO is pleased to welcome Ms Dallaire-Blais as a new member to the team. “Her experience in research, along with her commitment toward the identification of the health care needs of Francophones, will be an added asset in obtaining results in planning and community engagement projects.”

The RMEFNO aims to ensure that Francophones in Northern Ontario have access to a range of quality French healthcare programs and services that meets their needs.
